The Twin Ports Walleye Association is for walleye anglers who are seeking a community of sportsmen and women that share their enthusiasm for recreational and tournament fishing in and around the twin ports (Duluth, Superior area). Its membership consists of anglers who compete in events at the local level, a number of professional guides and anyone who wants to improve their abilities to put fish in the boat. One of the biggest advantages for our members is the ability to network with other members. The TPWA provides a forum for interaction between anglers. The association will focus on walleye fishing, networking and learning.

The primary reason an angler should join the TPWA is a belief in the two main goals

  1. To increase awareness and to educate our members as well as the general public
  2. To grow the sport of fishing and the industry as a whole.

The main objective of the Twin Ports Walleye Association is to protect our fishing resource at a local level and to promote the ethical, safe and enjoyable sport of walleye fishing.

The TPWA will work together with local businesses to promote the industry and to help organize local events including tournaments, leagues and charitable events.

The TPWA wants tournament fishing to be mutually beneficial to the anglers and the community. As a group, TPWA members have a stronger voice and more credibility to affect positive change for everyone.

The direction of the TWPA is initiated by our committees. Members bring their ideas and recommendations to the board of directors through the committees which include: Membership, Marketing, Tournament, and Legislative.

THE FUTURE PROJECTS AND GOALS OF THE TPWA ARE IN THE HANDS OF OUR MEMBERS!
